The companies Gasunie, NAM and GasTerra are researching and preparing for a new future. What will it entail? An interesting topic to chew on, for students from a broad range of study fields.
Through a series of presentations given by GasTerra, Gasunie, and NAM, you will learn about the scope of the tasks and responsibilities of each company. A unique opportunity to discover how these companies intend to adapt to the changing environment – and to give your views through the case study. During the masterclass, you will have the opportunity to find answers to interesting questions, ask critical questions and give your feedback. Finally, you will present your solutions and views to the other teams and a panel of experts.

*This masterclass is designed by Energy Academy Europe for students of RUG and Hanze who have an interest in energy and the energy transition. Dialogue and the exchange of ideas are at the heart of a Masterclass. Therefore, a maximum of 25 students can attend. Since there are limited places available, we will confirm your qualification in the third week of February. Prior to the masterclass, the participants will be divided into multidisciplinary teams. Your task will be to solve a case study and present it on the day. We will provide you with necessary material and literature in advance.
It is defined as an Energy Learning Activity for students of the Hanze UAS and the University of Groningen. Students are invited to attend as many Energy Learning Activities as they want, at all stages of their education.
Energy Learning Activities are part of the Energy Academy Europe Certificate. If students follow 10 Energy Learning Activities and also complete 30 ECTS in energy courses at Hanze UAS or the University of Groningen, they are eligible for obtaining the EAE Certificate.
