Catrinus Jepma (UoG)
Catrinus Jepma is professor of Energy and Sustainability at the University of Groningen. Jepma has long-term experience in lecturing and research. His field of expertise is energy policy and markets, environmental impact and policy issues, energy efficiency measures and energy technologies. He is listed as the author of more than fifty publications. Next to his academic work, he guides policy makers and project developers in the field of renewable energy and alternative energy sources. Through his years of involvement as (coordinating) lead author of the IPCC, Prof. Jepma received a personalised certificate for his share in the Nobel Peace awarded to IPCC in 2007.
Ante Frens (NAM)
Ante Frens is Development and Technical Manager at NAM, an exploration and production company in Assen, near Groningen. NAM’s core business is exploring for and producing oil and gas, both onshore and offshore in the Netherlands. Frens is a leading manager in the oil and gas business and an experienced Field Development Manager operating in integrated, complex (technical and commercial) gas, LNG and oil projects and asset management. His specialties include oil, gas onshore and offshore, LNG, Petroleum Engineering and Field development.
