You are welcome to join an inspiring lecture, a spin-off from the Electrochemistry Symposium. A perfect opportunity to learn and discuss  the role of our chemical industry in the energy transition.

Wim Raaijen calls himself the softest engineer in the Netherlands. As a technology philosopher, he started off as a technology and science journalist. He now owns media company Industrielinqs in Amsterdam with a number of professional journals, conferences, news sites and film productions. Raaijen focuses on industry, infrastructure and sustainable production and is the author of a book about proactive coalitions in which he describes how companies and other organizations work together to achieve common goals, for example in the field of innovation and sustainability. Wim Raaijen is also the organizer of the annual Enlightenmentz of the Year awards; the nominees at this event introduce sustainable alternatives in an innovative and fun way.

It is defined as an Energy Learning Activity for students of the Hanze UAS and the University of Groningen. Students are invited to attend as many Energy Learning Activities as they want, at all stages of their education.
Energy Learning Activities are part of the Energy Academy Europe Certificate. If students follow 10 Energy Learning Activities and also complete 30 ECTS in energy courses at Hanze UAS or the University of Groningen, they are eligible for obtaining the EAE Certificate.
